Your Initial Oral Examination - what to expect:

Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the Full-mouth and/or bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.  Our doctors may also recommend further imaging with the latest 3D digital technology.

If your treatment needs are complex, or if you desire cosmetic or reconstructive therapy, models of your teeth will  be recommended and taken at a future appointment.  This ensures that our Doctor will be able to fully evaluate your bite and your jaw relationship.   After this, we  would then schedule  a separate "review of findings (consultation)" appointment with the Doctor, so that you will receive a thorough analysis and future plan for your overall oral health.  Our team is here to partner with you in achieving your best dental health - when the time is best for you.
